As a Duke University Alum, former Varsity basketball player at South Side High School and a New Yorker at heart (Go Knicks!), basketball always has been part of Steve's DNA. After working in the youth therapy space in Los Angeles, he began studying under Dr. Markus Rogan (Olympian and Sport Psychologist) to learn the ropes of how to bring mental fitness principles to high school basketball players.

Here's Steve's career story:

After leaving his job at Microsoft to pursue a Master's in Psychology at Columbia University, Steve began suffering from depression. He left the Master's program to heal and recover.

After working as a brand strategist at Havas Health and writing a screenplay aptly titled "Digging for Moonlight", Steve decided to dedicate his life to improve the mental health of others. He moved to Los Angeles in 2020 to attend USC's Masters in Social Work program and started Moonlight Health in 2022 as a support group service for Millennials.

After graduation from USC, Steve decided to enter the mental health psychedelics space (Product Marketing at Mindbloom) instead of growing Moonlight Health, putting the business on temporary hold. Steve currently works at the Alafia Mental Health Institute as a Youth Therapist while building Moonlight Health as a youth perofrmance coaching business for high school basketball players.

Steve resides in Los Angeles where he is building Moonlight Health virtually. His favorite move is the Eurostep to the off-hand off-foot finish and his favorite shot is the baseline mid-range turnaround (think Shaun Livingston). Although his ankles no longer allow him to compete at a high level, don't put your money against him in a game of H-O-R-S-E.
